On Tuesday 5th December 2023 we attended PCYCs Fit for Work Program. Luke and Patrice enjoyed their time with students discussing career paths into the Metal Fabrication Industry, how to get an apprenticeship and the opportunities we have available here at HORTS.
Fit for Work is a life changing program for young people aged 16-17years that runs 3 days a week for 10 weeks. With the aim to address a young person’s disengagement from education and employment. The program helps young people develop necessary life skills, to gain qualifications that result in resilience and increased employment opportunities. While reducing or preventing anti-social behaviour’s or involvement in crime.
